I wasnt aware that pad malfunctions were so common in the 2K model, but now i suppose after reading some of the inquiries on this forum it seems quite typical! Ive asked around on other forums about this pad problem and everyone either said that i needed new censor pads or to come here and ask you all. It got dusty a few times but i always cleaned it off. That said, i have always tooken great care my 2000xl i got it brand new right out of the box, never dropped it or abused it. Ive hardly ever used it, because i had other machines that i would use as well. Pad 4 on the bottom right hand side, doesnt seem to work at all.
